Working with Scuba Divers is special, BUT working with youth Scuba Divers is beyond special! It’s so rewarding to help kids learn to have fun and learn mastery of water skills. Children are so eager to learn and thrive for success. We can meet and exceed all of your needs and their!
There’s a wide variety of Scuba classes and experiences that children as young as 8 years old can get involved in! As a matter of fact, PADI even offers the ability for Boy Scouts to earn a Scuba Merit Badge which very few scouts have! The legacy that you bestow with your children by opening up the “other 71%” of the world by getting them Scuba certified is unparalleled and a skill that they can use their entire lives. The owner of FFS&S, Marc Dean has said many times that “the thing he loves to do most in the world is dive with his family”. Marc is a former United Sates Marine & is currently a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) & EFR Instructor. Marc was trained at the instructor renowned "Rainbow Reef Dive Center" in Key Largo, FL. His lead instructor was no other than Ross Neill one of the top PADI instructors in the world (2013 Instructor of the year)! Marc enjoys teaching all levels of Scuba as well as working with those with disabilities in aquatics.
PADI Divemaster and Travel Coordinator
Teresa Donato is a PADI Divemaster and vital part to FFS&S. After her first dives off Oahu, HI years ago, Teresa was hooked and became passionate about diving. Since then, she has traveled the oceans, exploring magnificent reefs, wrecks and aquatic life. Recently, she joined FFS&S as their resident Divemaster. Teresa is now eager to share her love and knowledge of diving and dive destinations to the students of FFS&S. Teresa's is also a licensed counselor. She has her own practice and works at the Billings, Clinic.
PADI Dive Master
Even though Jeff started diving in 1995 at Norfolk Lake in Arkansas. Today, Jeff still dives fresh water Lakes and quarries but admits that most of his dives have taken place in tropical waters. Jeff is quite the world traveler in our group and has went to many locations including: Belize, Bonaire NA, Costa Rica, The Grand Caymans, Hawaii, La Paz-Mexico and even to our own Florida Keys! Jeff has worked with a number of new divers and assisted instructors with certification dives. Jeff has found one of his favorite and most rewarding things to do is to help introduce new divers to the underwater world he so loves and enjoys.
Partner/Master Scuba Diver/ Dive Master in Training
This former Navy Sailor is a new partner to the FFS&S Family. Earl comes in with some fantastic ideas on how to promote Scuba, as well as all aquatics! His enthusiasm, know how and love for diving make him a valuable addition to "The Family"!
PADI Rescue Diver, Dive Master in Training, Head Equipment Tech
Brandon Pope began calling Billings home in 1996. This proud papa loves working with kids and volunteered on the Billings Little Guy Football Board and coached for 7 years. Brandon will do anything to get in the water! With that being said, he has taken part in the Polar Plunge for the last two years to support The Special Olympics. When Brandon began Scuba Diving, he was instantly hooked! He looks forward to introducing our youth to the "underwater world", as well as expanding his training and knowledge as a diver.
